About Me
Thank you for checking out my Point of Origin site! I'm happy that you are here. My name is Tammy M. Powers and this page is a little about me. I graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science. I went on to work as a Physical Therapy/Work Hardening tech for a number of years before attending New Life School of Massage in Atlanta (which is now a part of Gwinnett Tech) where I was certified as a Massage therapist with a specialization in Neuromuscular Therapy. After massage school, I certified as a Pregnancy Massage Therapist with Carole Osborne-Sheets and as a Spinal Cord & Brain Injury Therapist through the Shepherd Center, in Altanta.
I decided that I could best meet my clients needs by incorporating all of my skills and education. I founded Point of Origin Neuromuscular & Sports Therapies to provide just such an integrated approach to total-body fitness and wellness. Point of Origin has grown into a recognized name in the community of alternative health.
I continues to strive for excellence each day, to meet each client's individual needs, to find the Point of Origin of each ache, to locate the source of your pain.
